2009 EPSRC Case Awards
The Cyber Security programme of the Digital Systems KTN was appointed last year as an Agent for EPSRC CASE Awards. We are allocated two awards per year to distribute to universities that partner with businesses to run business focused doctoral level projects.
We are currently looking to identify universities and small to medium sized enterprises that can work together and qualify for the scheme. Interested parties should get in touch with the programme by the end of April, so that we can start to discuss likely projects and suitability. Depending on the level of interest we may need to run a review and assessment panel, likely to be held in June.
Benefits include:
- Businesses get doctoral level support in terms of R&D and business development
- Universities have the benefit of showing their relevance and links with industry
- Students gain additional experience that can further their job prospects
